Setup fees are where punchout usually gets expensive. Ours is zero for cXML: you configure Ariba, Coupa or any other cXML connection in the app and test it yourself, so there is nothing to charge for.
OCI setup

OCI connections include configuration work on our side: the purchase-order leg and the NEW_ITEM field mapping are set up per connection, for each buyer's ERP. The fee covers that work, once per connection.
Assisted onboarding

Only if you want us to run a buyer certification or Ariba enablement for you instead of doing it yourself. Entirely optional; the app is built for self-service.
What counts as a connection
A connection is one buyer procurement system connected to your store. One customer ordering through their Ariba instance is one connection. Another customer on Coupa is a second. A buyer calling your OCI endpoint from SAP is a third.
The plan includes two. From the third active connection on, each one adds $99 per month.

- Why does OCI have a setup fee when cXML does not?
- cXML connections are self-service: you configure them in the app and test them yourself, so a setup fee would be charging you for your own work. OCI connections involve one-time configuration on our side, because the purchase-order leg and field mapping are built per connection for each buyer's ERP. The $499 covers that work.
- Is there an annual plan?
- Not yet. The per-connection part of the pricing runs on Shopify's usage billing, which works on monthly cycles, so the plan is monthly for now.
- How does the free trial work?
- The base subscription includes a 14-day trial. OCI setup and optional assisted onboarding are separate charges under the plan you approve in Shopify. Review those charges before creating an OCI connection; do not assume cancellation waives one-time services.
- What about Ariba network fees?
- Those are Ariba's fees, charged by SAP Business Network directly to suppliers, and they apply whether or not you use PunchRelay. Nothing on this page includes them, and nothing we do adds to them.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes, through Shopify, like any other app subscription. There is no contract and no notice period; billing is monthly.
